Lip sync task

This is my lip sync task.  Firstly I started off my by filming our singer from the front, as we filmed we also played the music so you could hear it on the camera, this would make it easier to sync in with the actual track when it came to the editing stage. I filmed my singer singing from three different camera positions (from the front, from a low angle on the left and from a low angle on the right.) After I had filmed all my footage I then imported the footage onto the computer, and then onto a program called ‘final cut’. In final cut I took the footage I wanted then cut it to the right size then from there I matched the music on the footage, which I previously mentioned earlier, to the master track that was on the computer. I repeated this process with different shots I collected from the footage I gathered until I had a fully lip synced song. Through this task I have been able to improve my various skills with the program final cut.

Opie self portrait

Today I made a self portrait influenced by the artist Julian Opie . I acquired more skill by using photoshop for this task, such as i have developed my skills with the various tools on photoshop, such as the magnetic tool and the burn and dodge tool. The feedback i got from my peers said that they thought my hair was very good and my jacket and t-shirt. In the future I will need to improve my work with layering. This will help me create my digipack for my A2 coursework is by making it easier for me to use photoshop by familiarizing myself with the software.
